Grand Siècle Museum
Construction of the future Grand Siècle museum in the former Sully barracks in Saint-Cloud
The museum will house the collection of works of art by Pierre Rosenberg, highlighted within the three entities making up the project: the Grand Siècle museum, the collectors' cabinet and the Nicolas Poussin research center.
In addition to the renovation of the 7,400 m² of the former barracks, the project also includes the construction of the Belvédère Pavillion, a 1,300 m² building whose envelope is designed in Ultra High Performance Fiber Concrete. It will perfectly integrate with historic buildings while offering continuity to the Saint-Cloud National Park.
This large-scale cultural project represents an investment of more than €100 million for the Hauts-de-Seine Department.
Works will begin in 2023 with the museum opening to the public scheduled for 2026.
