UIR is the first Moroccan university to be created as part of a partnership with the Moroccan government in the field of higher education
This new centre of excellence covers an area of 20 hectares.
In addition to the construction of 5 buildings dedicated to education and research (45,500 m²), the project also included:
- a residential complex at the university composed of 6 house units (65,000 m²),
- offices for the administrative services,
- sports facilities.
