The reuse of treated wastewater has become an essential issue for sustainable development 

In this context, TPF was awarded a new study contract on the valuation of resources from wastewater treatment in the intervention area of Águas do Tejo Atlântico:

  • energy recovery from treated effluents, 
  • reuse of treated wastewater for crop irrigation, for example,
  • transformation of sludge into biogas (green energy source).
